Week 10 allowed me to sum up my report and write an conclusion as well as finish off my summary. As I have the introduction, as well as the methods, results and discussion, the conclusion of my coursework will gather every time together and come to an decision of which computer is the best out of the two. To write this conclusion, my reasons will be backed up by with results and my methods as well as my discussion. To help draw out my conclusion I had read over an book by Victor Lopez-Jaquero, Francisco Montero, Jose Pascual Molina and Jean Vanderdonckt "Computer-Aided Design Of User Interfaces VI" This book provided me an inside into why technologists find it difficult to meet user needs.
Once my conclusion is done, it is now easier for me to complete my summary which is at the beginning of the coursework. As said in my posts the summary will give an overview of my whole report. This means that it will include something from my introduction section, methods section, results sections, discussion and conclusions section. I had to make that my summary is no more than 250 words.

Week 9
During week 9 I was ready to analyze my graphs and to complete my discussion. I have put my data into bar graphs, and these bar graphs both consist of Apple Mac and Windows PC data so its easier for me to compare them. When analyzing my data, I am going to explain what the data shows and what could be the reason behind why the candidates voted more on either questions. Analyzing my data like this would help me with my discussion. For the discussion I am going to talk about ways in which I could improve my I could improve my research and what lessons could be learnt from my work. By already looking at my results I know that to get a better result from my questionnaires and to conclude my designed question it would have been better if I had experimented more than 8 candidates, as it is not reasonable to conclude on such a question about which computer is the best of the two with just some results from 8 candidates. Also by reading a book by P. Langdon, P. John Clarkson and P. Robinson "Designing Inclusive Interaction" it made me think about the age range I had used for the experiments as there are different affects of ageing upon interaction.

Week 8
By week 8 I have come up with the questions I want to include in my questionnaire and have set out the task for my experimental task. I have gathered together 8 computers and 8 candidates. Four of these computers are Apple Macs and the remaining Windows based PC. I handed out a written task to each of my candidates so they can work on it themselves and know exactly what they are doing as this task shows a step by step guide. This task should take a maximum of 15 minutes and if anyone over passes this time then they leave their work incomplete and move onto the questionnaire. When I did this task I had learnt that it was a good idea to set out a simple task and then combine an questionnaire with it as it will allow me to look at the cause and effect. The task that I had set out for my candidates tests out some of the most used features on these computers.
When the questionnaires were complete I saved each of them onto my USB and the generated this data onto Microsoft Excel so I can turn this into graphs which then would allow me to compare between an Windows based PC and Apple Mac.
When I was thinking of questions for my questionnaire and the task I wanted I had done some research into different Journals. These journals were related to aesthetics and typographic design. In my annotated bibliography, I will include the links to the journals and what I had found in them which relates to the design question.
